OKLAHOMA CITY — Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney spoke at the Oklahoma Republican Headquarters Wednesday.

Just after Pres. Obama announced his support of gay marriage, Romney took questions from the Oklahoma crowd on the controversial issue.

Romney said he believes marriage should be between a man and a woman.

The expected Republican nominee joined fellow Republican, Gov. Mary Fallin for an event at the party headquarters.

Romney stopped at an oil and gas company in Colorado before coming to Oklahoma.

Romney is expected to attend a fundraiser with Harold Hamm, Chairman and CEO of Oklahoma City-based Continental Resources.

Residents will be heading to the polls next month to determine who will represent them on the City Council of Midwest City.

Officials in Midwest City say they want to hear from the community about how to spend specific funds to improve the city.
